Returns and exchanges
-We want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with all your purchases at Portland Music Company . You can return an item because your are not satisfied with it’s performance or simply because you need to upgrade for a better model.
ITEMS MAY BE RETURNED WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM PURCHASE FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE
A minimum of 10% restocking fee may be applied for refunds or exchanges depending on the condition of the item and its packaging. Items must be in the exact condition as purchased.
Receipt of purchase necessary (In store only). Refund given using the same method of payment you used for the original transaction.
Items purchased with a gift card may only be returned for store credit.
EXEPTIONS:
The following purchases may not be returned at anytime:
• Software
• All purchases are final after you registered it’s warranty with the manufacturer or if you register software included with some products such as Audio interfaces.
• Open packages of reeds
• Printed music
• Installed pickups and transducers
• Consignments and clearance items.
Regarding Online orders:

Policy on returns of purchases made directly from the shopping cart of this website is the same as above with the exception that you will be responsible for the cost of shipping an item(s) back to us within the allowed time.
Regarding In-Store pickups.
When you order an item to be picked up at any of our locations, you will need to present your ID and the credit card you used for the purchase.
