A vintage-inspired Dark Tobacco Teardrop Burst top is the perfect complement to the seasoned, played-in voice in the 117e Special Edition. This acoustic-electric guitar features our Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought body shape topped with a soundboard of solid torrefied spruce. The solid-wood top, our proprietary roasting process and the innovative C-Class bracing inside the body add up to a warm sound with rich volume, blooming sustain and clear low-end power that doesn't sacrifice clarity. Players of all skill levels will appreciate the slender Taylor neck profile, which makes for relaxed fretting across the smoked eucalyptus neck. The 117e Special Edition also includes built-in ES2 electronics for clear, natural tone whenever you need to plug in. It ships with a padded gig bag.
